mama P visit!

impromptu plan to watch kung fu panda fail! kaya we decided to go visit Mama P instead... its been a while....

(little side trip in daddy's office na may christmas tree pa rin kahit March na! hehe) 

barbero mode

what's good about having a real mall in zambo...we can get the kids to have haircuts even after 6pm! :-) but this time, it has to be done by real barberos.... :-) the daddyboo now have 2 barbero-mates.... sigh for mommy who has to go to the salon alone.... hehe

one realization during this lakad... paolo is soooo much like daddyboo... when he's hungry he has to be fed...asap!!! hehehe

we might have fed him well during this trip and he liked his new haircut that he volunteers to be photographed... papalagpasin pa ba tong once in a blue moon na mood ng potpot? syempre hindi! :D

trip to isabela and malamawi (basilan)

the trip from zamboanga to isabela,basilan had always been a visual treat for me... never boring... :-) once you'll get to the isabela straight, you'll see a normal daily commute of bancas (sometimes even with motorcycles)... happy to have my 2 boys experience this too! :-)

malamawi: love at first wave!

the malamawi white beach in basilan had always been in our list to go to around zamboanga city, but we never dared... until lately we've been seeing a lot of friends going there.... so with a long weekend and hubby's relatives in the nearby isabela, we joined with tita lelang's very decided disposition to go to malamawi.... 

one word to describe malamawi: WAVES!!!!

i'm not an expert in identifying if waves are good enough for surfing, but i do hope that malamawi's waves are! imagine a surfing place just less than 2hours from zambo city!!! 

I've been imagining Malamawi White Beach as some off-the-beaten-path kind of beach, beautiful in all its rawness but i guess i came too late... the place is being developed into a resort already, with cottages and overnight place to stay, with a port being constructed, with jet skis and kayaks for rent (i hope there will be surfboards later too!!!)...but the waves...oooohh the waves!!! if you're the time who enjoys throwing yourself into coming big waves, this is one good place to do that! :-)

dahil blackout... we decided to head to the tumaga hanging bridge since malapit lang din naman.... 

quick 2016 goal list

just so i won't hate myself at the end of the year for not doing one.... :-) here goes...

1) Family trip to Manila! - because we haven't been in one place at the same time for soooo long, specially now that we have Motmot and Lulu... :-) As of this post we already have tickets...so it's just a matter of bringing our arses to the airport and fly! see you unoluluchay! :-)

2) Surf trip with Cherry - itodo na ang gala dahil wala ng travel ban! :-) let's make this come true dude! i'm targetting July or August... kahit La Union lang game na! :-)

3) Tawi-tawi trip - RyeRay are going so i'm seriously considering joining! :-) 

4) Watch Les Miserable! - fingers crossed... i'm sooo tigang to watch a nice production play.... if not Les Miserable, well at least one other good one hehe

5) School for Mateo & Paolo - Mateo can start real school this June already! i'm excited to see their dynamics being in school together (syempre hindi classmates).... But I'm having second thoughts of keeping the same school where Pao is now because of DepEd accreditation and K-12 concerns... need to settle this soonest....

6) Renovate MangPang's house! - ultimate goal this year... baka kelangan ibalik ang travel ban because of this... hehehe house is more than 12yo and still unfinished, and we're all needing more space so I guess this is the best time to do it... whether we stay forever in Zamboanga or not, i suppose that house deserve some fixing this year.

how'd i do with my 2015 goal list?

here's a revisit to my 2015 goal list...

im not sure why im not as excited as last year when preparing this now.... but i dont want to hate myself at the end of the year for not having documented some targets (im OC like that pero tinotopak lang ngayon).... anyways, let's try some 15 for 2015:

1. big school for paolo! - he's more than 3 now, and i think it's about time we start real school this year....   ----- we've started Nursery already!!! and he'd adjusted pretty well... even topping the class after their first set of exams! 
2. play school for mateo - im not sure if il be able to find one around August-November... but let me keep my fingers crossed... im assuming he'll be talking like crazy by that time, and since kuya is already at school he might also be interested...  ------ was classmate with the kuyapot during summer playschool in ICAS de Mercedes.... he sure had fun considering he was less than 2 that time. We decided however that he'll rest at home this schoolyear, he's not prepared to start actual school yet, natutulog pa sa class! haha
3. revive my boy's shoot and monthly family shoot - i wanted that glamored-taken-by-a pro kind of family shoot last year... but then, thinking about the cost (which i can just use to buy more stocks!!! hehe) and how orchestrated that will be, i just think coming up with a monthly or at least a quarterly kind of family shoot where we're all dressed up would be nice.... i just need to train our ate jean (pao's yaya). I also want to revive my boy's regular monthly shoot before, but need to change some things, need them not on the bed anymore! hehe and oh i might be able to proceed with the one where they wear their dad's polo during our wedding... :-)   ------- we started shooting with the boys again last November... so i hope that counts as a good point for this goal... :-) but no regular family pic still....
