well, another proud mommy moment for me... hehehe not really because he's eating lollipop now, but because he figured out on his own what to do with it after his daddy lolo handed him an unwrapped lollipop...
he had not seen anyone eat a lollipop before, nor was he thought what to do... he just stared at it for a few seconds then tried to shoot it in his mouth... he was so careful with the stick himself... then he figured out he can take it out of his mouth again and put it back if he wants to have another taste... :-) hahaha... indeed small things make mommies jump for joy! heeee!
and just a side note... he's really not into sweets, he prefers fish (tilapia most specially!), veggies (specially an ilonggo dish called "laswa" - a combination of saluyot, alugbati, malunggay, talong and okra with fish or bagoong all boiled together), and fruits (guave, tambis and banana in particular)... well this is another proud mommy thingy which deserves a separate post... :D stage mom in the making over here!!! :D

It seems that he likes the lollipop very much
ReplyDeleteI can feel the genuine side of a HAPPY and PROUD mom :) Love to read posts like this :) -> miss JHENZ http://jeniferbalatico.blogspot.com/2012/08/pepper-n-mint-is-looking-for-online.html
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, my BabyLove also knew what to do with a lollipop. Well, I guess because it's the instinct of kids to put stuff in their mouth, good or not. :D
ReplyDeletegood for baby liking fish and veggies! :) I think too, we are all stage moms in our own rights! hahaha! :) - Mommy Practicality
ReplyDeletegood that your bebe is eating fish and veggies! I think so too that we're all stage moms to our kids! hahaha! :)
ReplyDeleteNice shots! seems like he liked the lollipop! but good thing he prefer fish and veggie! nice tlaga clap clap :)
ReplyDeletedelightful! its not always you get to know kids who love to eat fish and vegetables. the lollipop will be a treat.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a child's instinct to put everything in the mouth. It is good that your kiddo love healthy foods but the introduction of artificial sweets might ruin his appetite for not-so-sweet veggies. But of course as a mom, we are always happy with our child's progress and they never fail to amaze us :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! My daughter as well can eat anything. But I'm trying as much as I can for them not to eat sweets especially chocolates. My daughter is 3yo and I'm afraid that she'll have cavities soon. Hayst! I have the feeling we'll visit a Dentist for the first time, hehehe!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from CE Aug21.
My son too loves vegetable though he eats all. Haha. Cute little boy lollipop!
ReplyDeleteThat's cute! He seems to be enjoying it a lot. :-) Oh, just be careful because some lollipops are not well-attached to the stick. I think it's best that he sticks to veggies, fish, and all of those healthy foods. :-)
ReplyDeleteHe is loving his lollipop so much, so cute! Good thing he liked veggies, I have trouble feeding my sons with veggies to the point I have to hide the veggies under the rice and cover with catsup, huhu! You call it in Ilonggo Laswa but I was told its called Diningding in Ilocano, haha!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's an instinct for us how to eat a lollipop! But we should watch over our young children to prevent them from injuring themselves with the plastic stick.
ReplyDeletegrabe tlga pag mommy ano.. kahit ung mga simpleng bagay basta first time proud tau! hehe nakakatuwa mga pictures, very candid! :)
ReplyDeleteyour baby boy is so cute licking up his lollipop...yum, yum, yum
ReplyDeletenice pics
It's nice to know that he loves real food! I'm sure he'll grow up enjoying eating them the more as you expose him more and more to nutritious food :)
ReplyDeleteKids sure love candies :)
ReplyDeleteThe 3rd photo from the top is so cute. Not too much sweets, little one! :-)
ReplyDeletehow adorable! By the way, is laswa same with diningding of ilocos? I heard this from my former office mate.
ReplyDeleteWow! It's nice that your little boy is much into veggies and fish. That's healthy for him. :)
ReplyDeleteEvery child eat everything that they see. :D So cute that he knows what he's doing.
ReplyDeleteMy kids had their first taste of lollipop when they were three years old. I was afraid they'd choke on it when they were younger. Don't let your little one keep the lollipop inside his mouth for a long time and make sure he drinks water after eating anything sweet.
ReplyDeleteyay, he didn't throw it out. Did he keep touching it though and made his hands all sticky? I wonder how my nephew's first candy experience will be like.
ReplyDeletecutie! he's a smart boy :)
ReplyDeleteYeah better to give him healthy food without much preservatives (like in processed food) at an early age. Then he won't be so picky with food. I used to hate eating anything but fried chicken. My lola used to sit beside me in meals just to watch me eat veggies. ( T-T) *torture*
ReplyDeleteWow ang galing ni baby ha.. kumain ng gulay, fish and fruits.. how I wish ganyan din anak ko..hayz!:(
ReplyDeleteI know this feeling when I handed my daughter who was 8 months old then with a straw, she knew exactly what to do with it. hehehehe
ReplyDeleteMy son also loves candies and chocolates. He likes lollipop too.
ReplyDeletehe really enjoys his lollipop, cute little boy
ReplyDeleteCute little boy. My little boy (8 months young) is just starting to take his first few steps. Those kind of little acts makes their parents happy and proud.
ReplyDeletewow lollipop... he looks so cute and adorable... :-)
ReplyDeletekids these days rally know what to do when they are given some foods or candies..:)
ReplyDeletesmart kid! adorable. mommy will have a hard time refusing baby's lollipop cravings. hehe
ReplyDeleteMy son cannot control drooling on his first lollipop but now, whenever we go to sari-sari store, he would definitely ask lollipop.
ReplyDelete-daddy allan (visit from BCB)
