bowling... zambo-style!
this is how i learned to play bowling before i encountered the 10-pins in Manila... this is how we've known bowling down here... :D
makes me think of the Flintstones! hehehe but mind you this duckpins are more difficult to play...
no options for the weight of the ball... you've got to have a good grip so you wont let go before you've hit the lane... :D
manual scoring.... manual reinstallation of the pins (oh yes! we still have pinboys sitting behind the alleys)... manual everything hehe
it was a sponsored inter-hospital competition... i tagged along... joined one of the games and scored really low... hehe sorry... :D we were 5th, only the top 4 will move to the next level... :D
team Ciudad!!!

the place:
Tebi&Sean recreational center... along Gov.Camins road... right side if you're going to the airport...
this used to be Gorostiza bowling center...the same building for the bowling alleys were retained... and repainted i think...
Gorostiza was sold to Le Peng Wee... he remodeled the whole place and added this spacious facade... there's also an internet cafe inside the compound... im not sure what else.
the place looks better now... more space, not a threat to people with claustrophobia... :D but they could use more gimiks to put some umpf! to this place... :-)
