we joined the procession from the Cathedral to the Fort Pilar Shrine...
students from Catholic Schools were required to attend in their gala uniforms...
it's Mama Mary's day! (Lady of the Pilar version)...
it was a long procession...
there were soldiers and policemen in every corner... not a spot remain uncovered by them... :)
this old lady went in front of me... i didnt get to see her face. :) i admire her devotion to the Lady of the Pilar, she still joins the procession although she's having a hard time walking. She had her umbrella as her cane...
very tight security... causing a bottleneck at the entrance of the shrine... everyone has to pass through inspection before getting in....
color accent with mamang... :D
many decided to stay outside the shrine to hear mass... there's just too many people trying to get in...
