***apologies for the yellowish photos... these were all taken at night and the only light source were the streelights of davao. :D
i'm never a fan of Durian... i just cant get myself to try it... hehehe i really cant take the odor.... but this is my 2nd trip to Davao where my companions really made sure that buying and eating fresh durian is part of our itinerary.... :D
Dra. Tan's relatives brought us to Bahada (i'm not sure if it's a street name or a barangay)... they happen to be a regular customer of the person selling in the area... one selling point for them is the free taste of as many as you can durian (while waiting for your orders to be prepared)... and another thing... they would open the durian first to check if it's good, they will only sell the good ones... the bad ones get to be processed into candies or something else. :-) just look at how good this one looks.
there were a lot of really huge durian... my first to see them that big! :-) but only the small sizes were given to us for free taste... :D
they're only selling along the road, they have this truck setup where the durians are being opened for checking...
they have durian display along the roads too... :-) this is dra. tan, i'm really happy to find out that she's as camwhore as i am or even more! hehehe :D
the name on the signboard's is the seller's... just in case you want to check him out, just go to Bahada and look for him. :-) Puyat is a type of durian... it is yellowish compare to the white meat of a native durian. :-)
Sir Kent really enjoyed the free taste... i cant believe they're really loving it... :D
i finally get to push myself to try this small strip hehehe... just for the sake of blogging!!! they were telling me that once you get pass through the smell you'll love the taste already... but nah! i still don't like it.... but one thing i've noticed, that small strip felt like a shot of tequila for me haha! i dunno why... but i'm really sure i got that bangenge feeling i usually get after my first shot, and that heat.... :-)
they're my davao buddies this time. :-) i made sure i asked their permission first before posting their photos in my blog... :D they are our company's dream team! hehehehe :D they really had a good feast on the durian for free taste... i was the only one who was not eating durian so i get to keep on taking their photos... just made sure i sensored some hehehe :D
