zambo trip ni sol & gie (June2010)

dati pangarap ko lang makainvite ng friends sa zamboanga.... eversince college pa...but i would always get an eyebrow-raise for a response.... who wouldn't be scared of zamboanga if all the not so good news (including basilan's) are being reported from here... but eversince i was able to had ezra and the gang here last year a lot of friends from manila also became interested to come over. :D

this time my visitors are my roommates from college... gie & sol! :-) this is sol's 2nd time already though... she really wanted to comeback because she missed the sta cruz island when she went here with some friends last year.... so we made sure that's really part of their IT. :-)

both didn't have sleep when they got here. gie came from work and sol just opted not to sleep since their flight is 5 in the morning. so expected ng bangag yung 2.... we passed by my office to leave some things before we had our mini tour for gie.... perfect timing dahil pinaghahanap na pala ako sa office for some minor stuff lang din naman. :-)

first stop.... Pasonanca Park.... i'm loving this place for photos na.... specially the campfire are... very nice! :-)

and the wigwams too! i always get good shots here....

and our famous Pasonanca Park tree house.... Sol was telling us she can still remember learning about the tree house when she was still in elementary... but Gie as always (bangag mode), doesnt remember anything hehe




i never thought i could take them up in Cruz Mayor in Abong-Abong. Good thing our driver offered and we made a quick stop dun... i love these sky shots....

i barely have any photos take because Sol wasn't using her camera and gie let me use hers after my ixus was beginning to turn on & off.... so i just have to find some ways to photograph myself hehe





Mano-Mano lunch! eto pa lang ang restaurant here in zamboanga na gustong gusto ko so i always take my visitors here. :-)


sobrang aliw na aliw sila sa dami ng mangga everywhere... fruit trip daw kami.... so we made a stop sa isang fruit stand na matagal ko na ring gustong kunan ng photo because of the color of the stand...we brought the mango we bought here during our sta cruz trip...






unfortunately i need to leave them sometime in the afternoon dahil i have a meeting to attend to (kakaguilty!!! sorry guys)... i left them sa Lantaka Hotel Cafe so they can be comfortable at least.... and since they've been up for more than 24hours gie tried to have some sleep dun... :-)





this is what i saw on my way to CMZ after making sure they're comfy na sa Lantaka.... i just cant let this pass without taking photos.... clouds reflecting so much sunlight and then another cumulus clouds covering it... making this look unusual. :-)



they were so proud to show me this photo... they had this much dinner!! haha



we passed by Fort Pilar before heading home.... :-) first stop dapat to actually hehehe pero it became our last for the day. :D











i asked for a pasalubong... sabi ko food na wala dito sa zamboanga... hehehe and they brought me Yellow Cab! grabe i didnt realize miss ko na yung mga ganitong food! hehehe noon iniignore ko lang sila kasi they're just there.... :D so hint to those who want to visit me here hehehe make sure you have something with you when you come :D
