a sunday but mommy was to go to office to finish audit work.... on our way out this is what's happening.... :-)

pao luto at dyesebel

here's the latest craze.... lutu-lutuan and dyesebel! it's not a boy's game i know.... but the lutu-lutuan im ok and the dyesebel so totally not! ehehe

the cooking materials: lola's pot for plants inside the house; a pestle, a toy golf club, some cloth

the plant pot serve as the cooking pot, and the pestle the stove.... the toy golf club his sandok...

and mamat's sandals as the secret ingredient.... :-)

0.75yo birthday ng mateo

time flies so fast indeed!!! we're done with Mateo's first 3 quarters already!!! so here's to celebrating his 0.75yo birthday!!!

mesmerized pa rin sa candle light.... but later gusto na rin nyang mgblow.... :-)

ang official candle blower sa bahay.... :-) he got so used to this monthly birthday celebration of mateo that he asked mommy where mateo's cake is in the morning.... :D made me wonder, he also knows to keep track of time??? because nobody told him it's mateo's monthly birthday that day!

it's lego season!

the kuyaboo was feeling a bit better after 2doses of antibiotics for his tonsilitis.... :-) so it's back to playtime at home!!!

these big building blocks that tita lelang and tita buding gave pao during his first birthday are the preferred toy these days.... we make helicopters and strada and cars and houses and teapots with cups with it.... depends on what crosses the kuyaboo's imagination.... it's all cars for the mateo for now, complete with the running engine sound! :-)

...it was a fun lego day until kuyaboo saw mommy's phone and wanted to play his puzzles (urgh! hate it when he chooses to play with the phone)

as always, mateo would want what kuyaboo plays with..... and then you know the story, kuyaboo, in his "everything i see is mine" stage would not share....

and so its lego cars for mateo again.....

ER visit

although i'm working in the healthcare industry, i'm not the kind of mom who would resort to the doctor with just a little sneeze or cough.... we don't resort to commercial medicines right away either, we try to solve health issues with basics firsts..... but when your kid had a 38-40 fever for 2nights without any signs of the cause (no cough or colds, no wound, etc.) off the the emergency room we go  (because it's after work and no clinics to at least put us at east after 5pm hehe).... 

Although i've been communicating with his pedia through text, and we were already suspecting tonsilitis, I can not find a tongue depressor so i can force to take a peep on his tonsils.... we then decided to take the kuyaboo for a quick check at the hospital emergency room where i work.  And true indeed, it was his nasty tonsilitis that's causing the fever scare.... at least that calmed me a bit, antibiotics for 7days and we're good to go.... no more chocolates and ice cream for the kuyaboo!

after we're done and lab tests look ok, we headed at the wards to visit Pareng Gelo.... too sad he needed confinement so he won't get too dehydrated.... but that little dude is a toughy, so he's also out a day or 2 after.... 

sigh.... one of the booboos of mommyhood.... as much as you want to keep your calm, it is impossible when it's something you can not explain logically right away... hehe

happy and not so happy night

we're used to having mateo sleep in his duyan then we'll just transfer him in bed after.... but lately, he would try to fight off his antok and try to wait before bedtime and be so harot for some kulitan.... :-)

but on this particular night, kuyaboo was not feeling well.... :-(

choochoo cars

these were the same cars we hang on our Christmas tree last year.... i kept one in my bag so i can preserve at least one for this year's christmas tree again since toys for paolo always end up massacred hehe... but this one night, he just thought of looking inside my bag and found the red car! so he demanded to gather all of the remaining cars from his toy box.... and we had this play time.... :-)

it had been a game for him to put things in this manner and call it choochoo train! :-)

looking oh so proud of his work....at pumayag magpapicture with it na labas pa ang ngipin!!! (that is sooooo rare these days by the way... hehe)

first sa wigwam country

the jolibee trip this sunday was not enough.... nabitin sa play area kasi dumami na kids na mahaharot pa.... so we decided to head to Pasonanca.... usually Butterfly Garden ang tambay with the kids pag Pasonanca.... pero grabe lang sa hirap mghanap ng parking, lahat ata ng taga-zamboanga na buraot na sa blackout e nasa labas lahat, and marami e nasa Butterfly garden.... hehehe so i told daddyboo to head straight to the Wigwam park which is also in Pasonanca, somehow near butterfly garden (Camp Atilano technically but i love to call it the wigwam park hehe...oh that's where the famous Zamboanga Tree House is located)

eksenang sasakyan....dahil nasiraan pa ang gulong along the way.... so to keep the kids entertained, picture and harutan muna...

and the paolo chose to finish mommy's coke float!!! urgh!

sun was already nowhere in sight, preparing for its last hurrah for the day when we arrived at the wigwam country.... but we still had enough daylight time to run around and give the kids that adrenaline boost.... it was paolo's first here (well 2nd, the first was when he was still inside my tummy hehehe).... i think he got too overwhelmed with the flat grassy (umn fallen leaves this time) space to run to his heart's content that he blurted out "ang ganda ganda dito mommy! ang saya saya!" while running... :-)

we even went down to the campfire area where he can climb up and down and run and shout all he want.... this time he was shouting his prayer with daddyboo before sleep ("i pray through your son, Jesus Christ. Amen!!!") repeatedly!

first time sa jobee play area ng mateo!

we had the babyboo in jobee several times already.... but this is the first time i'm daring to let him play at the play area....well at least when we got there there were just a few kids, not rowdy so its safe.... i let him join kuyaboo and baby play since both are still scared with going up to the slides so they were all just near us...

so far this is the only rowdy kid in site.... hehehe

but he adores the mateo soooo much! how sweet can you get with that kiss!!!

morning after sleepover

this is how we roll the morning after a sleepover at my inlaws...

heavy.... as in heavy breakfast.... it's spaghetti this time... :-)

this little fishy had been a fave of the 2 boys.... so he's part of the "g'morning" greeting... :-)

kuyaboo charmed his daddylo to put the daddylo's bike's lights to his...

the silent observer.... but i can imagine the energy once he's free to move around too on his own.... :-)
