Dapitan: Gloria de Dapitan

i never heard about Gloria de Dapitan until i was already preparing the itinerary for our Dipolog/Dapitan trip... but I remember seeing photos of Fantasyland in one of the blogs i follow. :-) Good thing the place where we stayed is just walking distance from Gloria de Dapitan... so we stayed there for as late as we can...


it's along the Sunset Boulevard... once you go inside the first thing that will catch your attention is this fountain... it changes how it flows ever few minutes...



there's supposed to be several establishments including restaurants... but its sad to say there are a few options at the time... I think there are still spaces for rent inside Gloria de Dapitan. We end up going out of the park again to have dinner at the nearby Kamay ni Manay....



...in the middle of the park you'll see this building... it's a cockpit. :-) i just find it weird that they have this in a supposedly family-oriented park. :-)



there's also a bowling alley inside the park...



but the huge thing that's attracting visitors to this place is their Enchanted Kingdom-like theme park... their Fantasyland! :-)



we saw the famous Romeo Jalosjos (he was convicted for raping a minor)... Juvee can't resist not having a photo with him... so once we got the chance we immediately grabbed it... :-)
